Sod Webworm Control
Over the last few years the Gulf Coast has had a huge infestation of Tropical Sod Webworms. These worms caused substantial damage to thousands of lawns from Houston to Pensacola. Over the last two weeks we have started to see evidence that Sod Webworms will make another appearance this year. Historically the damage starts to occur in August and September.
The only preventative method is to apply a systemic insecticide prior to eggs hatching. We will start applying a preventative July 11. If you would like to have your lawn treated to prevent this insect from damaging your lawn, we can help. Call our office today to get a preventative application.
